Women's Ministry

The Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Church of Whitesboro is a vibrant community of women seeking to know God through study in His Word. In addition to seasonal Bible studies, we encourage women to stay in fellowship throughout the year by joining us for all kinds of fun events. You’ll find FBCW women serving and discipling others within the church and reaching out beyond our walls to impact the community in ways that glorify God.

Our prayer is that through our ministry you will find your place to grow.

Upcoming Events

6:00 – 7:00 PM

Location: AE104

Barbara Robertson will facilitate the class.

Childcare is available.

For 8 weeks, we’ll be doing a series of stand alone-Bible studies. These studies are designed to help you grow in your love for Jesus and to foster fellowship with the group. Each week, we’ll study and discuss a different Bible passage so there’s no preparation needed or book to buy. Just bring your Bible and a journal or notebook to take notes.

1:00 – 2:30 PM

Location: Choir Room (formerly Fellowship Hall)

Lin Barnes will facilitate the class.

We will read and discuss the book It’s All Under Control by Jennifer Dukes Lee.

“What would it actually look like to let God take control? We ask for a map, but instead Jesus gives us a compass and says, “Follow me.”

Join this class to “experience the peace of knowing a God who truly has it all under control.”

Book is available online for $14.99

You can order a book by calling the church office, 903-564-3546, and leave your name. Women’s ministry offsets the cost to $12.00 to make it available to more women.

Deadline is Friday, January 13 before 11:00 PM.

You will receive and pay for your book in class on January 19th. Check made out to First Baptist or exact change please.
